On the evening before the Battle of Bosworth Field, Richard III is visited by the ghosts of his past. From his rise to power to his final downfall, the events of his life are played out before him. In this new musical we meet a different Richard to Shakespeare’s Machiavellian villain; this is a man whose destiny has been propelled by circumstance rather than design.

It’s a story of triumph and tragedyperformed in the magnificent setting of Fotheringhay Church, just a stone’s throw from the remains of Fotheringhay Castle where Richard was born in 1452.

A unique opportunity to see this new production in our area.
