About The Fringe

The Oundle Fringe Festival is all about the performance arts! It was first organised in 2011 and continues with the aim of providing a showcase for local and visiting performers and to create an exciting and entertaining summer Fringe Festival programme based in and around Oundle, a beautiful market town in the north of Northamptonshire.

The number of events and range of local and surrounding venues taking part has increased year on year and provides a rich and varied programme of very talented performers and engaging events. All types of genre are welcome, so we have styles from blues to bluegrass, jazz to folk, classical to rock, poetry, dance and drama. Oh, and don’t forget the brainteasing Fringe Quiz! Which all go to make a thoroughly entertaining and unique Fringe Festival!

Nearly all the events are free, but we do have some ticketed pay events. We also make a collection at each event and the donations go direct to the performers to help contribute to their expenses. So, if a Fringe steward is standing with a collection bucket near you please give generously. The performers will really appreciate the support.

The Oundle Fringe committee are all volunteers and give up their time to plan the Festival over many months to bring you this extravaganza of entertainment!
